Abnormal or Excessive Fat accumulation where the body mass index is more than 25 kg/m2, and this makes the person at high risk for many diseases such as Diabetes, Coronary diseases, Hypertension etc..

Causes of Overweight & Obesity:
  • Metabolism & Energy imbalance : Calories consumed is more than Calories expended.
  • Increased intake of Energy-dense foods that are high in Fat-CHO.
  • Physical in-activity and lack of exercise
  • Environment, family history and genetics.
Advices:
  • Follow a healthy eating plan (Diet) and keep your calorie needs in mind.
  • Be physically active, perform exercises regularly and try to limit the amount of time that you're inactive.
  • Weight-loss medicines, meso-therapy and surgery also are options for some people if lifestyle changes aren't enough.
